The Joliet Junior College men's soccer team earned a 7-2 victory over non-conference opponent Elgin Community College. Malek Rashid scored in the 5th minute from an assist from Rocco Del Real. Gustavo Ramos Buonopane had a goal in the 19th minute from Malek Rashid. Aldo Diaz scored in the 35th minute from Adrian Jimenez. Jimenez then produced goals in the 40th and 45th minutes, as Edgar Azpeitia earned a goal in the 52nd minute from Del Real. Ulices Garica wrapped up the scoring in the 89th minute from an Edgar Azpeitia assist. 

"This was a nice all around team effort," Head Coach Cris Trillo stated. "We are fighting through some injuries, but continue to improve throughout the season."

JJC (6-5 overall) hosts N4C conference opponent Rock Valley College on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Game time is 4:00 pm.
