The JJC men's soccer team edged out N4C conference opponent Rock Valley College by a score of 3-2. Gustavo Ramos Buonopane scored in the 10th minute on an assist from David Cedillo. Ramos Buonopane scored again in the 65th minute from a Kyle Sparks assist. Rocco Del Real sealed the game with a goal in the 66th minute from an assist by Adrian Jimenez. 

"Rock Valley came out hungry and scored in the 3rd minute to take a 0-1 lead," Head Coach Cris Trillo stated. "We answered back in the 10th minute and then allowed another Rock Valley goal early in the 2nd half. Our guys stayed focused and then scored back to back goals late in the period to put us up for good."

JJC (7-5 overall, 5-4 N4C) travels to N4C conference opponent Harper College on Friday, October 6, 2017. Game time is 4:00 pm.
