"Our defensive intensity wasn't very good in the first half and we were way too slow to close out on shooters," Head Coach
Joe Kuhn said. "The second half was much better; we closed out and contested shots with some urgency."
"This was a very good win for us and, I think, a character builder. Teams need to learn how to win games which we did tonight. It is a process and in the long run we now know we can come from behind. Although we have some returning guys, we are playing a number of new guys who are learning."
JJC (1-0 overall) hosts the College of Lake County on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Game time is 3:00 pm.
