The Joliet Junior College women's basketball team defeated Waubonsee Community College tonight by a score of 69-61. Kianna Campbell led the Lady Wolves with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals. Deesha Brefford scored 12 points, while Talia Edwards finished with 9 points and 10 rebounds.

"We are happy to get this victory, but we still have some things to work on," Head Coach Shaun Sanderson said. "I am proud of our freshman for making an impact in their first collegiate debut."

JJC (1-0 overall) hosts the College of Lake County on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Game time is 1:00 pm.
