The JJC women's basketball team edged out McHenry County College by a 59-58 score. With 8 seconds left in the game, Kianna Campbell made good on a 3-point play to seal the victory for the Lady Wolves.

Campbell finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Deesha Brefford earned 13 points, while Destiny Villalejo scored 11 points. Amber Lemons finished with 9. 

"I thought that we played our best game of basketball in the first half," Head Coach Shaun Sanderson stated. "Despite surrendering a double digit lead on the road, our sophomores remained poised and executed down the stretch. The team is beginning to trust the system and it shows."

JJC (4-0 overall) travels to Illinois Valley Community College on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Game time is 5:30 pm.
