Joliet Junior College turned it on in the second half to put away Olivet Nazarene University JV 95-81 on Monday.
Leading by two at the break, the Wolves (6-1) turned it on scoring 53 points in the second half.
Sophomore
Mitchell Kwasigroch led the way scoring 20 points. He shot 8 for 11 from the field helping JJC pull away. Kwasigroch was tough on the glass racking up a team-high eight rebounds.
Guards Quincey Butler and
Jarret Gmazel paced the way for the back court scoring 17 and 16 points, respectively. Gmazel, who has now scored 76 points in his last three games, added five steals for a tough Wolves defense.
Richie Elias also added 12 and eight assists for the Wolves who helped the Wolves defeat Olivet Nazarene JV for the second time this season.
Chase Travis reached double digits inside the paint with 11 points.
