Joliet Junior College hung tough but fell for the first time this season, a 73-71 loss at the hands of Kankakee Community College.
The Wolves held the lead through three quarters, but the Cavaliers had too much fourth-quarter firepower.
Despite the loss, several Wolves turned in excellent performances.
Deesha Brefford scored 18 points in the loss while
Kianna Campbell added 13 points and seven rebounds.
Destiny Villalejo added 12 points and six boards.
The Wolves will head to the Thanksgiving holiday with a Monday game against Concordia set for Monday.
