The JJC women's basketball team earned an 87-49 victory over the College of Lake County. Sophomore guard Deesha Brefford had a team-high 24 points followed by Amber Lemons with 14 points. Talia Edwards finished with 11 points in the contest.

"Tonight we got off to a slow start," Head Coach Shaun Sanderson stated. "The second half displayed what this team is capable of. We have to find a way to get off to a better start but at the same time remember to be patient with this group."

JJC (2-0 overall) hosts Prairie State College on Thursday, November 9, 2017. Game time is 5:00 pm.
