The Joliet Junior College men's basketball team defeated Prairie State College by a score of 76-61. Sophomore
Jarret Gmazel had a team-high 22 points followed by Chase Travis with 20 points.
Richie Elias had a solid all-around game with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.
"We had a very good start to begin the second half and that was the difference in the game," Head Coach
Joe Kuhn said. "Overall, I thought we played very hard and were active on the boards. We still have a ways to go, but this is a step in the right direction."
JJC (2-1 overall) travels to McHenry County College on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Game time is 3:00 pm.
