The Joliet Junior College women's basketball team defeated Prairie State College by a score of 58-53. Deesha Brefford and Kianna Campbell (10 rebounds) both scored 13 points for the Lady Wolves. Amber Lemons had 9 points, while Destiny Villalejo finished with 7 points. 

"We didn't take care of the ball too well in the first half of the game," Head Coach Shaun Sanderson said. "We dug ourselves a 20 point deficit, but were able cut the gap little by little in the second half. I am proud of the way we didn't give up and were determined to get back in it."

JJC (3-0 overall) travels to McHenry County College on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Game time is 1:00 pm.
