Joliet Junior College coach
Joe Kuhn has an explosive bunch of scorers and it's beginning to show in the middle of the season.
A total team effort helped the Wolves to a 93-56 victory at Truman College on Thursday.Â
Five JJC players reached double digits in scoring led by
Jarret Gmazel's 19 points, all of which came in the first half.Â
The other four Wolves (11-3) who reached double digits in scoring were Tyler Davis, Quincey Butler, Jadan Manion and Nick Welter.Â
Davis had 15, Butler had 11 while Manion and Welter each had 10 in the victory.Â
"This certainly wasn't a pretty game but at the end of the day we did what we needed to do," coach
Joe Kuhn said. "Once again, we shot the ball extremely well which is certainly one of our strengths. We have been executing many of our offensive sets which is important. Our second half defense was very good as we held them to 20 points."
The Wolves will play at home next Wednesday against Lake Michigan College.Â
