Joliet Junior College showed its offensive firepower on Tuesday. 

Four players reached double digits in the scoring as the No. 2 Wolves edged No. 17 (Division II) Moraine Valley on Tuesday. 

"This was a huge test for us considering we both play an uptempo style," Wolves coach Shaun Sanderson said. "We were the better team tonight."

Deesha Brefford did what she wanted offensively scoring 26 points to lead the Wolves. She was a catalyst for the rest of the offense with five assists and grabbed five rebounds. 

Talia Edwards and Kianna Campbell each had double-doubles for JJC.  Edwards poured in 19 points and grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds while blocking two shots. Campbell added 13 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and four steals. 

Destiny Villalejo had 10 points and seven rebounds. 

JJC will play Malcom X College at the Events Center on Thursday.
