The Joliet Junior College baseball team earned a 3-2 victory over Prairie State College in the 2017 home opener. Sophomore Rob Blissitt went 2-for-4 and had 2 stolen bases. Adam Knerr had 2 hits (2B, RBI), while Marcus Stewart (2 RBIs) doubled in the contest. Nick Evola picked up the pitching victory striking out 2 in 3 innings. Joseph Davi picked up the save.
