The JJC men's basketball team fell in their Region IV semi-final game to Rock Valley College by a score of 82-78. Robbie Brooks paced the Wolves with 22 points followed by Mitchell Kwasigroch with 16, and Johnathan Boatright with 15 points. Richie Elias had 9, while Clinton Berhow added 8 points and 10 rebounds. "We missed several opportunities down the stretch to maintain the lead and didn't capitalize on the chances," Head Coach Joe Kuhn stated. "Overall our defensive effort was very good and we were able to shut down their 3-point shooting while holding their inside guys to 11 points combined. But, they had a few other players step up and that is what makes them good. We also had some poor shot selection in the second half. Our guys battled hard and we are proud of their efforts and overall season." JJC ends their season with a 23-9 overall record.
