The JJC baseball team defeated Waubonsee Community College in the Region IV Division III Championship Tournament by a score of 6-4. Andrew Rodriguez (RBI) paced the offense with 3 hits followed by Josh Tesch (RBI) with 2 hits. Nick Evola had a solid outing on the mound with 6 strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings. JJC (27-23-1 overall) will face the College of DuPage a second time on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Game time is 3:00 pm.
