The Joliet Junior College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Kankakee Community College in their season opener.

Sophomore Adrian Jimenez scored in the 22nd minute for the Wolves. Goalkeeper Abraham Huichapa earned 8 saves in the contest. 

"Our guys played very hard in this game," Head Coach Cris Trillo stated. "We had some penalties early in the game, but we made some changes in the second half and stayed tough."

JJC (0-1 overall) travels to N4C conference opponent Madison College on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Game time is 4:00 pm.
