The JJC volleyball team defeated Morton College by a score of 25-13, 25-23, 25-17. Melissa Ryan led the way with 14 kills followed by Jicara Tate with 8 kills. Kendall Iversen had 9 digs, as Bailey Davis finished with 7. Isabella Cosentino recorded 26 assists. 

"We played a solid first match against Morton," Head Coach Karen Bunkenburg said. "We cut down on service errors and attacked with good efficiency. We were able to maintain our focus throughout all three sets."
