The Joliet Junior College volleyball team dropped a 4-set decision to Southeastern Community College (IA) by a score of 25-23, 10-25, 11-25, 23-25. Melissa Ryan had 13 kills, as Kendall Iversen earned 12 digs. Bailey Davis finished with 8 digs, while Isabella Cosentino added 23 assists. 

"We came out strong in the second match against Southeastern," Head Coach Karen Bunkenburg stated. "We took the first set but struggled with our composure in the middle sets and it cost us. We came back to compete in the fourth set, but their attack and ball control were strong and we couldn't get back in the match."

JJC (5-7 overall) travels to N4C conference opponent Triton College on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Game time is 6:00 pm.
