The Joliet Junior College men's soccer team defeated N4C conference opponent Harper College by a score of 5-4. Kyle Sparks scored an unassisted goal in the 2nd minute of game. Gustavo Ramos Buonopane scored in the 31st minute on a penalty kick. Daniel Arriola earned his goal in the 36th minute, as Ramos Buonopane added goals in the 38th (Sparks assist) and the 60th (Edgar Azpeitia assist) minutes. Abraham Huichapa earned five saves at goal for the Wolves.

"This was another quick start. We had a 4-2 lead with five minutes left in the first half, but gave up two late goals to be tied up 4-4 at the half," Head Coach Cris Trillo said. "This was a physical game and I am glad that we held our own throughout the game."

JJC (3-4 overall, 3-3 N4C) travels to Illinois Valley Community College on Friday, September 22, 2017. Game time is 4:00 pm.
