The JJC women's soccer team defeated N4C conference opponent Harper College by a score of 4-3. Hannah Rieker scored in the 11th and 46th minutes on assists from Lindsey Bond. Miranda Nirchi earned a goal in the 67th minute from Bond and Rieker, while Hailey Arlis sealed the win in the 88th minute to put Joliet up for good from a Bond assist. Morgan Samp earned 8 saves at goal for the Lady Wolves.

"We came out after our halftime meeting with a surge of positive energy and made one correction to our ideas in our attacking schemes that were happening in the first half," Head Coach Wesley Dapkus stated. "We scored in the first minute of the second half and did not look back. I was pleased with our team's responsiveness to adversity how positive and supportive of each other we were."

JJC (9-2 overall, 5-2 N4C) hosts Elgin Community College on Monday, September 25, 2017. Game time is 4:00 pm.
