The JJC women's soccer team defeated Illinois Valley Community College by a score of 8-0. Katherine Moreno opened up the scoring with a goal in the 9th minute from a Miranda Nirchi assist. Madisyn Hannion earned a goal in the 11th minute on a Lindsey Bond assist. Nirchi had her first goal in the 22nd minute from Bond and her second goal in the 27th from Renee Fonck. Miranda Nirchi rounded out her hat trick in the 44th minute from a Morgan Samp assist. Lindsey Bond scored on a free kick in the 48th minute, as Hannion earned her second goal of the day in the 56th minute from Nirchi. Bond finished up the scoring in the 63rd minute on a Kiana Wheeler assist. Goalkeeper Roma Alvord earned five saves in the contest. 

"This was a good game where everyone contributed," Head Coach Wesley Dapkus said. "It is nice to see us make adjustments and keep learning each day throughout the season."

JJC (12-2 overall) will host Milwaukee Area Technical College on Friday, September 29, 2017. Game time is 4:00 pm.
