The JJC women's soccer team defeated N4C opponent Milwaukee Area Technical College by a score of 13-2. Hailey Arlis started off with goals in the 4th and 5th minute on assists from Alyssa Marrs, Lindsey Bond, Hannah Rieker, and Miranda Nirchi. Morgan Samp scored in the 18th minute from a Nirchi assist, as Rieker earned goals in the 19th and 20th minutes from Nirchi and Keygan Balaja. Samp picked up her second goal in the 20th minute from Nirchi and Arlis. Nirchi added a goal in the 25th minute on a Balaja assist. Arlis picked up her hat trick in the 26th minute and was assisted by Rieker and Madisyn Hannion. Balaja earned a 40th minute goal from Nirchi, as Hannion scored in the 51st from Bond and Renee Fonck. Rieker picked up her hat trick in the 53rd from Arlis and Emily Hartke. Nirchi had a goal in the 56th minute and Arlis in the 58th that were assisted by Bond, Arlis, Rieker, and Balaja. 

"The whole team got involved and contributed to the victory," Head Coach Wesley Dapkus stated. "We have been continuously working on speed of play and installing the proper habits in training to reinforce it in the flow of our game. The ability to get the ball of our foot and link the next player is essential to our success as well as the balance positioning and mobility off the ball to secure proper shape in transitional moments. We are beginning to understand the bigger concepts in the game and it is showing up in moments that are extended."  

JJC (5-0 overall, 3-0 N4C) travels to N4C conference opponent Triton College on Friday, September 8, 2017. Game time is 7:00 pm.
