The Joliet Junior College volleyball team earned a victory over the College of Lake County by a score of 25-23, 25-21, 25-20. Melissa Ryan paced the offense with 8 kills followed by Colleen Rooney and Jicara Tate with 7 each. Bailey Davis had 15 digs, as Kendall Iversen added 13 digs in the contest. Setter Isabella Cosentino earned 23 assists. 

"We were excited to gain some confidence tonight from a three set win," Head Coach Karen Bunkenburg said. "We continue to have a lot to work on, but hope to gain some momentum from this match. It was nice to see contributions across the front row offensively and to see two players with double digit digs."

JJC (2-6 overall) travels to Alverno College on Monday, September 11, 2017 to take on N4C conference opponent Milwaukee Area Technical College. Game time is 7:00 pm.
