Joliet Junior College was right in the game trailing by just one at halftime.

However, Triton opened up a big second half lead and defeated the Wolves 91-76 at the Event Center on Wednesday.

Sophomore Quincey Butler continued his outstanding season dropping a team-high 24 points, five assists and three rebounds.

Butler has been able to get to the basket at will making JJC into one of the best offenses in the country.

Alongside Butler, was Lincoln-Way Central sophomore Mitchell Kwasigroch, who scored 11 of his 20 points in the first half. Kwasigroch's first-half performance kept the Wolves afloat.

Chase Travis added 11 points as the Wolves dropped to 1-2 in North Central Conference play.

JJC will play next on Saturday at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
