Joliet Junior College fell 68-59 in its first North Central Conference game at the Event Center on Wednesday. 

The No. 2 Wolves trailed at the half and mounted a comeback taking the lead in the second half but couldn't hold it against a solid Golden Eagles squad. 

Deesha Brefford led the Wolves with 19 points while Amber Lemons reached double digits with 10 points.

JJC will return to action on Saturday at the Event Center against Madison College.
