JOLIET - Sophomores Cuay Whitener, Bella Cosentino and Megan Teschke have been excellent for the Wolves this season. 

The trio has led JJC into the NJCAA National Poll for two weeks and they helped the Wolves close out their regular season home slate with a 3-0 (26-24, 25-14, 25-16) win over South Suburban on Sophomore Night. 

The Wolves (19-13) had trouble in the first set trailing 23-20, but scored six of the next seven points to take the set 26-24. JJC had no problems the rest of the way closing out the match in the next two sets. 

Shea Kieldyk led the Wolves with eight kills and three aces. Whitener and Cosentino each had six kills. Cosentino spearheaded the offense with 30 assists and her 11 digs gave her a double-double. Whitener led the Wolves with 20 digs. 

The Wolves will close their regular season at Lake County on Saturday.
