PALOS HILLS - Joliet Junior College had its winning streak snapped at six matches on Sunday.
The Wolves played well but lost 4-2 at Moraine Valley Community College.
Miranda Nirchi tied the game in the 18th minute with assists from
Allison Vitel and
Taylor Metcalf.
However, Moraine Valley scored twice more in the first half to take a 3-1 lead into the break.
Morgan Samp put the Wolves within one goal in the 63rd minute with assists from Nirchi and Metcalf, but Moraine Valley scored in the 80th minute to put the match away.
Daisey Quinonez had 16 saves for JJC.
