JOLIET - Joliet Junior College had a chance to tie the game with three seconds left but couldn't connect on the game-tying shot falling 83-80 at home against Olive-Harvey on Tuesday.
The Wolves were led by
Isaiah Clemons' 22 points, four steals and four assists. He shot 7 of 8 from the free-throw line.
Jaylen Jones added 21 points of his own and three assists.
Bobby Shurilla rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12 points. Shurilla's 13 rebounds gave him a double-double.
JJC (2-5) trailed much of the second half but made it interesting with its late push.
The Wolves will travel to Lake County on Thursday with a 7 P.M. scheduled tip.
