GRAYSLAKE - Joliet Junior College is showing signs of improvement with many players contributing, but the Wolves could not pull out a victory falling 85-82 at Lake County on Thursday.
JJC (2-6) trailed by nine at halftime, but came all the way back with a chance to tie at the end. The Wolves missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer which would have completed the comeback.
Isaiah Clemons led the Wolves with 19 points while
Bobby Shurilla added 15.
Joseph Olinger finished with 14 points,
Trey Wornica added 13 and
Jaylen Jones scored 12 to round out JJC's double digit scorers.Â
Olinger narrowly missed a double-double with nine rebounds and Wornica added eight boards and four assists.
JJC will return home to the Event Center on Saturday at 3 P.M. to face visiting Morton.Â
