JOLIET - Joliet Junior College has started the season the right way.
The Wolves won their opener and made it two straight wins after a 58-42 win at Prairie State on Thursday.
JJC led by one heading into halftime but pulled away in the second half.
Talia Edwards led JJC with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Lynese Johnson had three steals.
Emily Atsinger scored 11 while
Amil Mitchell added 10 points.
The Wolves will return to the Event Center on Saturday to take on McHenry County College. The game is set for a 1 P.M. tip.
