BOURBONNAIS - Joliet Junior College really needed a win on Thursday after losing seven in a row.
It took the Wolves five extra minutes, but they made it happen in an 82-73 victory over Olivet Nazarene University JV. JJC outscored the Tigers 14-5 in the extra period.
Matteo Lombardi had a solid game shooting 7-12 from the field leading to a team-high 20 points.
Trey Wornica had 18 points, four steals and five assists. The five assists tied
Jaylen Jones for a team-high. Jones also added 11 points and nine rebounds.
Joseph Olinger also had 11 points and nine rebounds while
Isaiah Clemons added 10 points.
JJC will host Truman College at 7 P.M. on Thursday.
