JOLIET - Joliet Junior College played tight with South Suburban for a half but the Bulldogs dominated the second half knocking off JJC 83-51 at the Event Center on Tuesday. 

JJC led by three after one quarter and trailed by only five at halftime but only managed 14 points in the second half. 

Emly Atsinger led JJC with 14 points while Maiya Creal's 12 rounded out the double digit scorers. Amil Mitchell led JJC with six assists. Talia Edwards led the Wolves (8-3) with seven rebounds.

JJC will hit the road to play Bryant-Stratton (Wisc.) at 5 P.M. on Friday.
