BENTON HARBOR, MI. -
Emily Atsinger had a big day for the Wolves but it wasn't enough in a 80-68 loss to Lake Michigan College on Tuesday.
The Wolves trailed by 10 after one quarter and never came back despite Atsinger's team-high 20 points and five assists.
Talia Edwards had the team's only double-double piling up 13 rebounds and scoring 10 points.
Amil Mitchell had 13 while
Maiya Creal added 12 points.
"We are at the point of the season where our players need a break," coach
Shaun Sanderson said. "This can be the toughest part of the season physically and mentally. We'll get the rest we need, enjoy the holidays, and ask Santa for more wins."
