JOLIET - Joliet Junior College played even in the second half but it wasn't enough to defeat Moraine Valley in an 87-71 loss at the Event Center on Tuesday. 

The Wolves trailed by 16 at halftime and were unable to muster a comeback. 

Isaiah Clemons led JJC (2-8) with 17 points and Trey Wornica scored 10 points. Joseph Olinger had a team-high 12 rebounds while Braijon Thomas added eight. Jake Brnca led the Wolves with three steals while Sean Micetich and Wornica each had a pair. 

JJC will travel to Olivet Nazarene University (JV) on Thursday.
