JOLIET - Joliet Junior College's win streak was snapped at five games at the hands of Moraine Valley.
The Wolves fell 85-66 to the Cyclones at the Event Center on Tuesday.
JJC trailed by nine at halftime and the Cyclones were even tougher in the second half opening a 22-point lead after three quarters.
Freshman
Amil Mitchell led the No. 3 Wolves (7-2) with 15 points while
Kierra Tyler added 13.
Lynese Johnson led Joliet with eight rebounds while Mitchell and
Dasia Norris each had seven. Mitchell, Johnson and
Niya Williams-Scott each had three steals.
The Wolves will go on the road to Malcolm X College on Thursday and will return home next Tuesday against South Suburban.
