CHICAGO - Joliet Junior College came back strong on Thursday after a Tuesday loss. 

The Wolves took care of business in a 69-59 win at Malcolm X. JJC was led by Maiya Creal's 18 points. Talia Edwards finished with 15 pionts, nine rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks.

Amil Mitchell reached double digits with 12 points and added six assists. Dasia Norris had a strong all-around game with 13 points, eight rebounds and five steals.

"I am glad we were able to get a win on the road," coach Shaun Sanderson said. It's always tough playing at Malcolm X college. We kept our composure when theings were not going our way. That's a sign of maturity."

JJC (8-2) will return home on Tuesday at 5 P.M. to take on South Suburban.
