Joliet Junior College played tight at North Central Community College Conference foe Madison College.
The Wolves trailed by nine headed to the fourth quarter, nearly came back, but the Wolfpack outlasted the Wolves 58-55 on Wednesday.Â
Destiny Villalejo and
Talia Edwards each scored 12 points for the Wolves. Villalejo barely missed a double-double with nine rebounds. Edwards added a team high two blocks and three steals.Â
Deesha Brefford scored nine points and three steals for JJC (18-7).
The Wolves will conclude a three-game road trip at Triton College on Saturday.Â
