With the regular season winding down, coach Shaun Sanderson has his team firing on all cylinders.

Joliet Junior College took it to Harper early and never looked back in an 82-33 victory on the road Tuesday.

"Our offense started on the defensive end tonight," Sanderson said. "Our intensity on defense allowed us to get easy baskets and limit our starters minutes. This is the perfect time of the season t have multiple players scoring in double digits night in and night out. When we are dialed in defensively like we were tonight, this is a tough bunch to beat."

Destiny Villalejo led the defensive charge with six steals. She has a solid all-around game with 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Kianna Campbell was also excellent defensively with five steals, 15 points and six assists.

Deesha Brefford scored a team-high 20 while Shenea Best reached double-digits with 10 points.

Talia Edwards crashed the boards hard grabbing 11 rebounds.

JJC (22-7) will close its regular season at College of DuPage on Saturday.
