Joliet Junior College fell 20-19 at Columbia State on Thursday.
The Wolves led 19-10 in the ninth inning, but gave up 10 runs in the final frame for a stunning defeat.
Despite the tough loss, the Wolves had several standout performances.
Coal City native
Jake BRNCA went 5 for 6 with four RBIs.
Anthony AGNE,
Adam KNERR and
Trey STEWART each had three hits for the Wolves. Knerr homered for the Wolves while Agne drove in four runs.
Joe MCGUIRE and
Marcus STEWART each had two hits for JJC.
The Wolves will be in action on Sunday at College of Lake County.
