JOLIET, IL - Joliet Junior College cruised to a 17-2 victory in seven innings over Olive-Harvey on Thursday afternoon.
The Wolves (6-7) put the game away early scoring 13 times in the first two innings.Â
Adam KNERRÂ and
Jackson STULAS kickstarted JJC's offense with three hits. Stulas and
Trey STEWART each drove in three runs.
Marcus STEWART also added two hits fro the Wolves.Â
Tyler ZAREMBKA picked up the win in his first collegiate start throwing four innings of scoreless baseball before giving way to the bullpen. Zarembka surrendered just one hit while striking out four.
Austin REED and
Jake SUCHOR each threw an inning of scoreless relief.Â
The Wolves will play a doubleheader at Kankakee Community College today with a 2 p.m. start time. The Cavaliers are the defending NJCAA Division II national champions.Â
