KANKAKEE, IL - Joliet Junior College split a pair of games against defending Division II national champion Kankakee on Friday. 

The Wolves took Game 1 6-2 while falling 1-0 in the nightcap.

Game 1

Anthony AGNE led the charge offensively with three hits including two doubles helping JJC to a 6-2 victory.

Nick AIROLA, Jack CAVANAUGH and Zack PYCH each had two hits for the Wolves (7-8).

Airola and Andrew RODRIGUEZ each drove in a pair of runs in the victory. 

Drew CLAVENNA picked up the win allowing two earned runs on four hits for the Wolves. Noah O'BRIEN threw two innings of scoreless relief. 

Game 2

The Wolves couldn't get the bats going against the Cavaliers dropping a 1-0 decision. 

Jake CARLSEN was outstanding throwing six innings allowing no earned runs. Carlsen struck out four Cavaliers. 

Pych, Rodriguez, Agne and Marcus STEWART had the four hits for JJC.
