JOLIET, IL - Joliet Junior College is beginning to hit its stride. 

The Wolves are now winners of seven of the last eight games with a doubleheader sweep over North Central Community College Conference rival College of DuPage. JJC (18-15) dominated in Game 1 winning 16-0 in five innings and carried that momentum over for a 10-4 victory in the second game. 

Joliet Junior College 16, College of DuPage 0 (5 inn.)

An eight-run first inning propeled the Wolves to the easy victory. 

Joe MCGUIRE led the way for JJC with two hits including a home run. He also drove in three runs. Marcus STEWART and Adam KNERR each had two hits. Stewart drove in a pair. 

Drew CLAVENNA tossed a complete game, one-hitter on the mound. He struck out six in the win. 

Joliet Junior College 10, College of DuPage 4 

The offense exploded again for JJC. Anthony Agne hit a two-run double in the second and the Wolves never gave up the lead. He finished with a pair of hits and three RBIs.

McGuire had another excellent game with three hits including a pair of doubles. 

Jackson STULAS went 3 for 3 driving in two runs. Josh TESCH also added two hits. 

Jake CARLSEN earned the win giving up three earned runs on four hits. He struck out nine. Nick BECKER threw two scoreless innings of relief for the Wolves.
