JOLIET, IL - In the final home games of the season, Joliet Junior College secured a split with North Central Community College Conference foe Triton. The Wolves fell 9-6 in the first game but came back for an 8-7 decision in the nightcap.

Triton 9, Joliet Junior College 6

Triton scored three times in the sixth inning to take the lead for good. 

Sydney Miller starred for JJC (25-15) hitting a home run and a triple in the game. 

Katie Price, Lexi Meurer, Nicole Hutson, Megan Anthony and Ashley Decraene each had two hits. Jasmin Torres drove in two runs for the Wolves. 

Rachel Sangston took the loss in the circle for JJC.

Joliet Junior College 8, Triton 7

Sarah Goff continued her torrid week hitting her fourth home run, a three-run homer in the fourth inning. Goff also added a two-run single. 

Laci Meurer, Megan Anthony, Ashley Decraene and Lexi Meurer each had two hits. 

MacKenzie Melendez had a two-run single. 

Laci Meurer tossed a complete game surrendering only one earned run while striking out four.
