ROCKFORD, IL - Joliet Junior College played tough with the top team in the country but ultimately fell in both games on Sunday. The Wolves lost 9-7 in Game 1 and 2-1 in the second game. 

Rock Valley College 9, Joliet Junior College 7

The No. 4  Wolves scored five times to tie the game in the fourth inning but couldn't pull out a victory. 

Lexi Meurer and Sarah Goff each had two hits. Ashley Decraene and Megan Anthony each drove in a pair of runs. MacKenzie Melendez, Decraene and Megan Anthony all had doubles for the Wolves. 

Laci Meurer picked up the loss in the circle for the Wolves. 

Rock Valley College 2, Joliet Junior College 1

Rachel Sangston pitched a great game, but Rock Valley hit a walkoff single in the seventh to pick up the victory. 

Sangston surrendered only one earned run in seven innings of work. 

Sydney Miller had two hits including a triple. Melendez drove in the only run of the game for JJC.
