Joliet Junior College hit the ball well leading to a doubleheader split against South Suburban. 

The Wolves took Game 1 12-4 in five innings and lost the second game 15-7 in six innings. 

Joliet Junior College 12, South Suburban 4 (5 inn.)

The Wolves crushed the ball around the yard in the easy victory. 

Megan Anthony led the way with a perfect 4 for 4 game and Sydney Miller was excellent at the plate adding three hits. 

Izzy Ortiz homered and drove in a pair of runs. Lexi Meurer also drove in two runs. 

The Wolves (17-9) were active on the bases stealing five bases. Miller, Ortiz, Katie Price, Sarah Goff and Jasmin Torres all swiped a base. 

Rachel Sangston (7-2) picked up the win for the Wolves. 

South Suburban 15, Joliet Junior College 7 (6 inn.)

South Suburban scored three in the sixth to win in walkoff fashion. 

Miller and Anthony had outstanding games again for the Wolves. Both players had three hits in the contest. Miller drove in two runs. 

Ortiz also drove in two runs for JJC.

Laci Meurer took the loss in the circle for the Wolves.
