Joliet Junior College split a doubleheader with McHenry County on Saturday. 

The Wolves bats were hot in an 8-6 win in Game 1 but were cooled off in a 9-1 loss in the second game.

Paige Guerrero led the way with three hits including a triple and two doubles. 

Megan Anthony had three hits, two of which were doubles. 

Paige Potempa, Sarah Goff and Sydney Miller each had three hits for the Wolves. 

Melendez, Goff and Anthony each drove in two runs. 

Rachel Sangston picked up the win pitching a complete game while striking out four. 

McHenry County 9, Joliet Junior College 1

The Wolves fell behind three runs in the first and never recovered. 

Goff, Lexi Meurer, Laci Meurer, Izzy Ortiz, Ashley Decraene and Dakota Novak all had hits for JJC> 

Laci Meurer took the loss in the circle for the Wolves.
