JOLIET, IL - Joliet Junior College split a doubleheader with North Central Community College Conference foe Harper at Wayne L. King Jr. Field. 

The Wolves won 10-4 in Game 1 but lost Game 2 8-6 on Saturday. 

Joliet Junior College 10, Harper 4

The Wolves (11-14) scored five runs in the fifth to distance themselves from the Hawks.

Adam KNERR led the offensive attack with three hits. 

Jack CAVANAUGH drove in a pair of runs for the Wolves. 

Drew CLAVENNA was solid on the mound giving up three earned runs over six innings of work. He struck out seven hitters. 

Harper 8, Joliet Junior College 6

Harper scored all of its runs in the third inning. The Wolves made a valiant effort but couldn't quite complete the comeback. 

Anthony Agne got things started at the top of the order with three hits. 

Josh TESCH, Trey STEWART and Jake SUCHOR each had two hits for the Wolves. Tesch added a triple while Stewart doubled.
