JOLIET, IL - Fresh off coach Wayne King's 1,100th win, Joliet Junior College has more accomplishments on its mind.
The Wolves, who finished with a 21-17 record in Region IV, will play host to Waubonsee for a best two out of three series on Friday and Saturday to determine which team will advance to the Region IV Tournament set to be held May 11-13 at the top seed's home field.
The first two games of the series against Waubonsee are set to begin at noon on Saturday with the second game starting 30 minutes after the other. The Sunday game is an if necessary and would begin at 12 P.M. also at
Wayne L. King Jr. Field.
The No. 4 seeded Wolves swept a home doubleheader against Waubonsee but the games were close the entire way.
JJC pulled off two comebacks to win 3-2 and 5-4 in the two games.
