JOLIET, IL - Joliet Junior College hit the cover off the ball in a 23-7 win over Benedictine JV at home on Monday. 

The Wolves pounded out 20 hits in the victory. 

Lexi Meurer led the team with four hits while Sydney Miller and Ashley Decraene each had three. 

Meg Anthony had two doubles and drove in four runs while MacKenzie Melendez drove in three. 

Jasmin Torres and Katie Price each had two hits for the Wolves (31-18).

Laci Meurer picked up the win pitching five innings while giving up six earned runs. She struck out two. 

The Wolves will play Harper in the opening game of the Region IV Tournament on Friday.
