JOLIET - Joliet Junior College got off on the right foot in its season-opener.
Jorge Navas scored the game winning goal in the 60th minute helping the Wolves to a 3-2 victory over Illinois Valley Community College at home on Wednesday.Â
JJC was rolling early on scoring a pair of goals.
Christian Galvan scored in the 12th minute and assisted on
Jaime Huichapa's goal giving the Wolves a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.Â
Illinois Valley came roaring back scoring twice in the second half before Navas connected on the game-winning goal. Galvan finished with two assists on the day.Â
The Wolves will square off at home against North Central Community College Conference rival Madison on Friday.Â
